Oh, what a time was had!
The Educational and Charitable Foundation (ECF) extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for Arts & Prose 2026 and helped make this celebration of literature, music, art and philanthropy truly unforgettable.
We were honored to welcome bestselling author ReShonda Tate as our featured guest, enjoy the incredible sounds of the Duke Ellington School of the Arts Jazz Ensemble, and experience the creativity of featured artist Quintina Smith, whose live artistry added a special touch to the afternoon.
As we celebrated ECF's 25 years of service to the Northern Virginia community, one of the most meaningful moments of the day was the awarding of $25,000 in scholarships to deserving college-bound students—investing in the next generation of leaders, scholars, and changemakers.

The Educational and Charitable Foundation (ECF) is a federally designated 501(c)(3) organization established in 2001 by the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Lambda Kappa Omega chapter.
